Sol Dance

Scott Houston & Maya Lemberg

Sol Dance is a free-form movement experience where all bodies are welcomed. We offer a guided sensory journey meant to be experienced in its entirety. The music is meticulously curated by Scott alongside talented percussionists & sound healers – generally not limited to only one genre.

You can expect a culturally-diverse blend of electronic and acoustic sounds, skillfully attuned to the energy of the group. Beginning with an opening meditation and moving into deeper, slower sounds, the bpm & energy peak in the middle, and are finally brought back down, closing with meditative sound healing and a gratitude circle. We invite you to gift yourself the complete experience from start to finish.

Co-Founder & Resident DJ Scott Houston will be offering a delicious set of Ecstatic Dance!

Co-Founder & Ceremonial Maestra Maya Lemberg will set the tone for our dance with an opening/closing meditation.

Sound Journey

The Sound immersion is simple: You are here to relax and receive acoustic sound therapy. There will be a brief moment to ask questions for those new to such an experience. We'll ease into our nesting spaces where you are quite free to bring anything to make you feel comfortable (gravity chairs, pillows, blankets, eye masks, water!, bolsters, wet wipes/tissues, a notepad or phone for notes [on silence of course] and the like). We'll breathe together to settle the body and sink into the immersion. During the immersion, you are free to move your bodies and stretch, get up and use the facilities, open your eyes and such. Just be mindful that we are holding space for all those involved as you move around. Towards the end, there will be a good few moments of silence for integration. Then, with some chimes or handpan, I'll bring you back into your bodies. Afterward, we can share and have a Q&A if desired.
